FALKLAND CC’s Thames Valley League Division One game at home to Wokingham fell victim to the weather on Saturday.
Dan Housego (118no) and Michael Bates (60) led the visitors to 237-2 in 33.4 overs, but Falkland’s chase of their Duckworth/Lewis revised target of 251 was ended with them at 34-1 after 4.1 overs.

Duncan Johnson (3-24) and Chris Bird (3-39) bowled Thatcham Town (73-3) into a good position before their Division 2b game at home to Hurst (181) was called off.
Thatcham Town visit Wargrave this Saturday (12.30pm).
Sat Pal (3-17 and 46no) starred with bat and ball as Newbury (141-6) climbed to third in Division 3a following a four-wicket success at home to Falkland 2nds (140).
Newbury host table-toppers Sonning on Saturday (12.30pm).
