World famous members of the boxing world will be present in Reading on Saturday, helping raise money for legendary official Jeffrey Hinds.
Hinds, who has officiated more than 1200 bouts over a career spanning more than three decades, has been out of action for more than two years due to a costly ongoing legal case.
Hosted from 4pm until 8.30pm on Saturday, August 13, at Reading Amateur Boxing and Fitness Club on Chatham Street, iconic former stars are to descend on the town to support the official.
Reading's former British champion Michael Sprott joins the likes of Derek 'Sweet D' Williams and Wayne Alexander for an afternoon of demonstrations, auctions and raffles.
Sprott, the town's most famous boxer, held the British Heavyweight and Commonwealth title in 2004 and is a winner of the Prizefighter series.
