SANDHURST School matched its A level performance with an excellent set of GCSE results.
Of 159 candidates who sat papers this summer, 65 per cent attained a C or better in English and maths, while 40 per cent secured A* or A grades.
The new Attainment 8 measure puts Sandhurst at C-, which means students perform very well especially considering the fact that the school has retained an open options system.
Its Progress 8 score is 0.03, so pupils did slightly better than national expectations would suggest.
Individual successes included Mazem Ahmed, who notched up five A*s and seven As, and Yasmin Yau-Karim, who achieved five A*s and five As.
Deputy headteacher Justin Southwood said: "We are delighted - another year of excellent results reflects both the hard work of our students and our exceptional teaching staff.
"Every year we are impressed by our students' ability to combine tremendous academic performance with a rich array of extra-curricular interests.
"We wish all our students every success for the future."
